SYDNEY – Qantas and Air France will extend their codeshare agreement to include services between Australia and Paris via Hong Kong from 1
May*.
Qantas Executive General Manager John Borghetti said the codeshare would provide additional options for Qantas customers travelling to one of Europe’s most popular destinations. The new services mean greater choice for Paris bound customers to connect with Air France services in Hong Kong with:
seven connecting Qantas services per week from Sydney;
three connecting Qantas services per week from Melbourne, increasing to six per week from 11 June; and
four connecting Qantas services per week from Brisbane to Hong Kong.
Mr Borghetti said Qantas would codeshare on Air France flights between Hong Kong and Paris, and Air France would codeshare on Qantas services between Hong Kong and Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
“This new agreement will enhance our existing daily codeshare services operating to Paris via Singapore from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and three per week from Adelaide.
“Both airlines are looking forward to the same success on these new codeshare services,” he said. Qantas Frequent Flyers will be able to earn points on the Air France services when travelling under the Qantas code between Hong Kong and Paris.
