In addition to services cancelled to Europe today, QF29 will not operate Melbourne to Hong Kong. These passengers are being contacted and offered next available services or full refund.

SYDNEY – UPDATE 2:30pm AEST: QF1 will operate Sydney to Bangkok only for passengers who have Bangkok as their final travel destination. Passengers booked on this service intending to travel through to Europe, are unable to travel. Those affected passengers will be offered to be transferred to the next available scheduled services or a refund.

Services from Bangkok and Singapore back to Australia will operate as scheduled today. QF2 will depart Bangkok for Sydney at 1805 local arriving at 0605 Saturday morning. QF10 will depart Singapore for Melbourne at 1945 local and will arrive at 0450 Saturday morning. These services will uplift any passengers wishing to return to Australia who were previously travelling to the Europe. 12 NOON AEST: Qantas services outbound from Australia to London Heathrow and Frankfurt are cancelled today.

Customers travelling on these services will be offered to be transferred to next available scheduled services or a refund. Next available services to Europe are not known at this time and cannot be confirmed until official notification from authorities in Europe on when flights can resume. Passengers travelling to Singapore today will be offered a new service, QF8031 which is scheduled to operate Sydney-Melbourne-Singapore. This flight will depart Sydney International at 4.15 pm, Melbourne at 6.50 pm and arrive in Singapore at 12.35 am on 17 April.

Qantas will not be able to offer flights to UK or Europe, as on current estimations, airspace into Europe will not be open for at least another 24 hours.

Passengers wishing to travel Bangkok or Hong Kong today will be advised in due course. Qantas is currently assessing services to both ports. Further updates will be available on qantas.com throughout the day.

Services from the UK, QF2 and QF10 were cancelled yesterday from London. We are unable to confirm departure times for these services until we have further advice from European authorities.
