Due to worsening weather conditions in southeast Texas, Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) announced travel options for customers whose flight plans may be affected by the weather.

Freezing precipitation is possible at Continental’s Houston hub and at several other airports in the region overnight. This forecast and the resulting airport capacity reductions will force some cancellations of flights in and out of Bush Intercontinental Airport beginning Tuesday morning and possibly continuing through Wednesday.

To avoid inconvenience, travelers scheduled on flights on Tuesday or Wednesday may wish to delay commencement of their trip.

[GADS_NEWS]Customers ticketed for travel Jan. 15 to Jan. 17 to or from the affected areas of Waco, Austin, College Station, Del Rio, Killeen, Houston, San Antonio and Shreveport are permitted a one-time date or time change to their flights without penalty for rescheduled travel originating by Jan. 22. Customers wishing to reschedule their trips should contact Continental reservations at 800 525 0280.
