Boeing [NYSE: BA] and London-based British Airways have finalized an order for eight Boeing 787-8s and 16 787-9s, raising the total number of 787s ordered worldwide from 766 to 790 and taking the 787 order book past the 787th mark. The order is valued at $4.4 billion at list prices.
The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and Qantas Airways announced a final agreement for the order of 31 Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 jetliners. The order is valued at US$2.3 billion at Boeing list prices.

Jakarta-based Lion Air’s order was placed during the second quarter of 2007 and was listed in the unidentified category on Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries Web site.
The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] delivered a Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 to Tianjin-based Okay Airways Company Ltd., the Peoples‘ Republic of China’s first private airline. The new airplane, which is the seventh 737 in Okay Airways‘ fleet, is under lease from AWAS (Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services).
Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Qatar Airways celebrated the arrival of the first Boeing airplane to join the airline’s fleet. Qatar Airways‘ new flagship 777-300ER arrived after a nearly 15-hour direct flight from Paine Field in Everett, Wash.
The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace) announced that ST Aerospace’s subsidiary, ST Aviation Services Company (SASCO), has completed the door cutting for the first 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF).
Boeing [NYSE: BA] announced that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, part of the AIR FRANCE/KLM Group, has placed an order for additional 737 and 777 aircraft. The airline will add three Next-Generation 737-700s and two 777-300ERs (Extended Range) to its fleet.
