Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Geneva-based PrivatAir announced an order for one Boeing 787-8 VIP airplane, a purchase-right exercise from PrivatAir’s initial 787 order in 2006. Today’s order is valued at $162 million . Through this agreement, PrivatAir has two 787s on order and has secured an additional purchase right.
Boeing’s [NYSE: BA] Commercial Aviation Services organization has reached an agreement with El Al Israel Airlines to perform repair and overhaul services on landing gear for the carrier’s Boeing 777 airplanes. By utilizing the Boeing Service Center Repair Network, customers receive quick, reliable service anywhere in the world.
Boeing [NYSE:BA] announced that first flight of the 787 has been moved from the end of the first quarter of this year to around the end of the second quarter to provide additional time to complete assembly of the first airplane. Deliveries are now expected to begin in early 2009, rather than late 2008.

The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] announced that South Korea-based Jeju Air has ordered five Boeing Next-Generation 737-800s to meet future growth plans. The new airplanes are valued at US$370 million at list prices.
