Boeing [NYSE: BA] and AWAS today announced that the Dublin-based airplane leasing company has placed an order for 31 Next-Generation 737-800s valued at $2.3 billion at list prices.
Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management (BBAM) announced that BBAM, in conjunction with its long-term business partner, Nomura Babcock & Brown, has placed an order for 20 Next-Generation 737-800s.
The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] confirmed a previously unidentified Lion Air order for 22 Next-Generation 737-900ER (Extended Range) airplanes. Jakarta-based Lion Air’s order was placed during the second quarter of 2007 and was listed in the unidentified category on Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries Web site.
Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Dutch airline transavia.com have finalized an order for seven 737-800s with conversion rights to other model types. The order is worth approximately $523 million at list prices.
The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and Mumbai-based Jet Airways, India’s largest private airline, today announced they have finalized an order for 20 Next-Generation 737-800s. The order is valued at nearly $1.5 billion at current list prices.
Boeing [NYSE: BA] announced that SAS Scandinavian Airlines has exercised options for two Next-Generation 737-800 jetliners. The airplanes will strengthen the 737 fleet of SAS Scandinavian Airlines to support growth on domestic and intra-Europe routes.
Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Arik Air, Nigeria’s newest commercial carrier, announced an order for 10 Next-Generation 737-800s, four 787-9s and one 777-300ER (Extended Range). The order is valued at approximately $1.8 billion at list prices.
The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and low-fare carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA announced an order for 42 Boeing Next-Generation 737-800s. The order is valued at $3.1 billion at list prices. The airline has secured purchase rights for an additional 42 737-800s.
Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Xiamen Airlines today identified the Xiamen, China-based carrier as the customer for 25 Next-Generation 737-800s listed as unidentified on Boeing’s Orders & Deliveries Web site in early August. The order is worth $1.9 billion at 2007 average list prices.
Standing beside a new 737 fuselage prior to assembly at Boeing’s [NYSE: BA] 737 factory, several hundred Boeing employees recently commemorated the history-making 7,000th Boeing 737 order by forming a giant „7,000“ spanning an area about the length of two airplanes.
