Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) announced that the Company flew 5.2 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in January 2007, an 8.8 percent increase from the 4.8 billion RPMs flown in January 2006.
DALLAS — Available seat miles (ASMs) increased 8.2 percent to 8.1 billion from the January 2006 level of 7.5 billion. The load factor for the month was 63.8 percent, compared to 63.4 percent for the same period last year.
