New Speaker Added to ASTA’s Upcoming Virtual Business Summit

Alexandria, VA- Jerry Benedict, assistant district director of external affairs for the Florida chapter of SCORE, is the latest presenter to be added to ASTA’s upcoming Virtual Business Summit

Benedict will be a panelist for Money, Money, Money and More, a session that will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the resources available to them to help them weather the economic downturn and succeed in the long term Exclusively for ASTA members, the virtual conference will be held May 20, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

Benedict, a former executive whose experience ranges from a leadership role in a family-owned auto parts manufacturer to having a hand in developing the first Personal Computer for IBM, will outline the free resources that SCORE offers to travel agents who are looking for help to manage and grow their business during the economic downturn.

The Virtual Business Summit sessions are as follows:

·         Changing Your Future by Upgrading Your Business Model. Presented by Nolan Burris. (2:00-2:45 p.m. ET)

·         Money, Money, Money and More. Presented by speakers from the Small Business Administration and SCORE. (3:00-3:45 p.m. ET)

·        

What Every Businessperson Should Know About BRANDING.
Presented by Mary Fran Love, Esq. (4:00-4:45 p.m. ET)

Each session will be 45 minutes long and include time for questions. ASTA members will need to register separately for each session. Members are encouraged to sign up early as space is limited.
