Fujitsu Siemens Computers – new image campaign

Office life can be cruel sometimes, and Fujitsu Siemens Computers shows you how to minimize the risk while keeping your sense of humor.

The leading European IT infrastructure provider showcases its new print and online campaign: if your tie got caught in the shredder, or that relaxing cigarette is inadvertently causing havoc for everybody else when the sprinkler system is triggered, if the server keeps running and business can continue then you are covered.

This extensive image campaign is running in selected European countries. The print campaign starts today in the main daily papers as well as in the business and IT press. The online campaign started at the end of May in both advertising and search engine marketing. There are four campaign motifs show various mishaps in the office. The main message in the advertisement and banner motifs clearly shows that Fujitsu Siemens Computers is an infrastructure provider on whom customers can rely – whatever the situation.

This humorous tongue-in-cheek approach addresses customers on both a rational and an emotional plane. In addition to this emotional brand appeal, the image campaign underlines the company’s position as a provider of infrastructure solutions in the market. “We have implemented the ideas based on the results of surveys run with our target group’s Chief Information Officers”, explained Barbara Schädler, Chief Marketing Officer Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “We have seen that our target group not only want clear facts and figures but also an emotional element and link to us.”

The main emphasis is on the two infrastructure solutions x10sure  – a Dynamic Data Center for medium-sized companies – in combination with PRIMERGY RX300 servers as well as FlexFrame for SAP. In the event of a fault or even failure, they help each other and simply start the applications on another server: all the applications thus continue without any interruption while the system is repairing itself. Just like Fujitsu Siemens Computers: “We make sure”!

The budget is in the double-digit million Euro range and is being run by the agency Scholz & Friends, Berlin.
