Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced it will showcase, through demonstrations and conference presentations, its industry-leading WiMAX experience at WiMAX World Europe.
Live wi4 WiMAX demonstrations will include gaming, web browsing, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) calling, video conferencing, and audio and video streaming, all powered by Motorola’s IP multimedia subsystem (IMS). The demonstrations will utilize an array of Motorola’s WiMAX equipment including its WiMAX access point, the WAP 400, desktop customer premise equipment, the WiMAX CPEi600 and commercial grade PC cards.
The breadth and strength of Motorola’s wireless broadband offering will be illustrated through additional live demonstrations such as the MOTOMESH Duo Metro Wi-Fi solution connected to a variety of consumer Wi-Fi devices. Also on display from the MOTOwi4™ portfolio will be wi4 Fixed point-to-point and point-to-multipoint solutions and Powerline MU, the company’s broadband over powerline product.
