Iberia Launches Service to Facilitate Recovery of Objects Lost on Aircraft or in VIP Lounges

12,000 objects are left in Iberia aircraft and VIP lounges every year. Photos of found objects are posted on the airlines website under “Helpdesk” tab and “Lost and Found”. Objects recovered on flights with Iberia, Iberia Express, Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum or in VIP lounges can be delivered by courier to your home.

Madrid – Nearly 12,000 objects are left on board of Iberia aircraft or in the airline’s VIP lounges every year. Iberia has launched a new service on www.iberia.com to allow their customers find objects left behind.

To access the new service, customers have to click on “Helpdesk” and then on “Lost and Found” on www.iberia.com. Objects found in VIP lounges and on the aircraft will be kept one day at the airport, then they will be photographed and the pictures will be posted on Iberia’s website to facilitate their return to rightful owners.

Customers must enter their names and supply Iberia’s, Iberia Express or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum flight number in order to access the photographs. When they have identified their lost belongings, they may request their delivery by courier service.

Iberia is one of the few international airlines offering such a service, which is part of Iberia’s ongoing campaign to improve its customers’ travel experience in every possible way.
