Boeing and China Southern Airlines Announce Order for 55 Next-Generation 737s

Boeing [NYSE: BA] and China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in The People’s Republic of China, today announced the carrier has ordered 55 additional Next-Generation 737-700s and 737-800s for its expanding fleet. At catalogue prices, the order is valued at $3.8 billion. The model mix was not disclosed.
