Madrid – Iberia has signed a contract, under which it will repair and maintain CFM56-7B engines used on Air Europa’s Boeing 737-800 fleet, made of 33 aircraft, at the installations of Iberia Maintenance in Madrid.

This contract, that has a five-year term, is the latest in a series of new agreements, which Iberia has recently reached with carriers such as Eurofly-Meridiana, Pluna, Privilege, Olympic Airways, Conviasa, Air Comet and Aurora Airlines, among others.

Air Europa is Spain’s third airline. Its fleet is made of 40 modern aircraft and operates flights in Spain, Europe, Northern Africa, Asia and the Americas.
