US Airways Opens the South Pacific to Customers Through New Air New Zealand Codeshare Agreement

Beginning this October, US Airways (NYSE: LCC) customers will be able to enjoy seamless travel between the United States, New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands, thanks to a codeshare cooperation between Air New Zealand and US Airways subject to both United States and foreign government approval. Codeshare flights will be available for purchase in September.

TEMPE, Ariz.,  – With this new agreement, US Airways customers traveling to New Zealand and Pacific Islands will be able to connect on Air New Zealand nonstop service from Los Angeles and San Francisco.

From the Auckland, New Zealand hub, US Airways‘ customers can seamlessly connect on Air New Zealand to popular destinations in New Zealand and Australia.

Conversely, Air New Zealand customers traveling to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh can do so conveniently, via US Airways flights departing Los Angeles or San Francisco
